SMS Messaging Terms

Last updated: 11/05/2026 · Effective for QR-Powered Identity™ ("the Service")

This page is issued by Davis Noe Perez Ugarte, a Mexican individual carrying out business activity (Persona Física con Actividad Empresarial), doing business as QR-Powered Identity™ ("QR-Powered Identity" or "we"). QR-Powered Identity is the business that sends the text messages described here.

Language: this page is available in English and Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails, except for users in Mexico, for whom the Spanish version prevails.

Program name and description

Program: QR-Powered Identity Notifications. QR-Powered Identity™ sends one-way, transactional text messages (SMS) related to a service visit or an account. These messages are sent by QR-Powered Identity itself, directly to people who opted in to receive them: company account owners and technicians who ticked the optional text box when they signed up or set up their profile. We do not send text messages to homeowners: homeowners receive their notices by email only. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Agreeing to receive text messages is always optional, it is not a condition of using the Service or of buying anything, and it is separate from any agreement to receive email.

Availability

QR-Powered Identity is intended for businesses in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore and Mexico. Text messages are currently available for mobile numbers in Mexico only. Text messaging to numbers in the other countries listed, including the United States and Canada, is not yet available and is coming soon. Until it launches in a country, we send the same notices and verification codes by email instead, and no text message is sent to numbers there. When text messaging launches in a country, we will update this page and, where needed, ask you to confirm your mobile number and your agreement to receive texts.

Who receives messages, and how you agree to receive them

Types of messages

Examples: new-job notice to a technician who opted in ("New job for [Name]. When you arrive, tap to notify the homeowner: [link]"), one-time verification codes (sent only to people who opted in), and job activity notices to company owners who opted in. Messages are one-way: we do not read or answer replies other than the keywords below.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Technicians and Avatars who opted in receive texts only when there is a job, a verification code, an access-recovery message or (for Avatars) a job activity update, such as a notice that a customer request was submitted to your company.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Opt out and help

To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no more messages will be sent to that number. For help, reply HELP or contact us at customerservice@qr-poweredidentity.com.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, affiliate or lead generator, and are never sold, bought or used for marketing or promotional purposes. Our service providers (including Twilio, which delivers our messages, and Supabase, which stores our records) handle this data only on our behalf and only to operate the Service. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and how we use it.

This policy is one of the documents that form your agreement with us under our Terms of Service (Section 12). If it conflicts with the Terms of Service, the order of precedence in that Section applies.
